“Spot Kitty” 1 yr old social male kitty

“Spot Kitty” is very social. He talks, takes treats from your hands and will follow you around. However, he is hand shy; meaning, he scoots away when you try to pet him. He loves to play, loves other cats and I have no doubt will be a complete lover someday but for now he needs a little patience – just in the petting department. Notice the cute white tip of his tail.

“Velvet Kitty” 2-3 yr old sweet black/brown cat

Velvet Kitty kept coming up to us when we were trapping. She obviously wants a home. She is a little timid but purrs and needs with her paws as soon as you start petting her. She has soulful eyes and some old wounds from living in the alley. She will make a best friend for someone!

Kittens available (at Tree House soon)

3 kittens rescued in Humboldt Park.  Currently 7 weeks old and will be available at Tree House once they are spayed/neutered and have their shots.  Aren’t they adorable?!?  Their ears curl!

“Sifu” needs a home

Sifu is a 1 year old male. He can be somewhat hyper when playing but he is very affectionate and loving.

“Chongo Kitty” 1 yr old sweet male

This guy is very curious, loves other cats and playing! He needs a good home. He is neutered. He is a little nervous but loves attention. He is isn’t comfortable being petted on his head (like scratching under chin or side) but loves being petted on back. “Chongo” translates as “Monkey” and he is a little monkey.

“Cookie” 4 Month old female

Now at Tree House Animal Foundation named “Celery”. She reminded us of cookies and cream. She loves being petted and other cats. She is timid but very curious. She just needs patience. This is not a good picture – she is very cute and soft!

A perfect pair! Princess & Lucky

Adopted. Princess is sweet, outgoing, comes when called. Lucky is still timid but if you seek him out he likes being petted. Their playtime can get wild and it is fun to watch them roll around. They are kittens. They will need training (curiosity leads them onto counters, etc.) but both deserve a happy home. Both are litterbox trained. Let us know if you are interested!

Sassafrass & Dreamsicle – 8 mos. old

 

Adopted.  Sassafrass and Dreamsicle are a beautiful, 8-mo.-old, sister/brother team who were born on the street and rescued in Sept.

19,701 dogs and cats were euthanized in Chicago in 2006. Really. Think about 19,701 dogs and cats JUST in Chicago. And, that number is down from years past.
